India's Party Dress

For India's birthday this year she wanted a "princess party". In preparation for the party we had to get her a proper dress. A couple of days before the party, she just 'had' to model it:

Halloween 2007

Wow was India into it this year. She knew she would be a purple butterfly for at least 5 months before the big day. She had a blast. At the first door she went to she said the following:

Excuse me. My name is India and it's Halloween....that means you are supposed to give me candy!!

Well India has some more boys in here life. Our friends Tim and Kelly look after India and Mara every once and awhile and Trish returns the favour. Here are some shots from one of their visits:

Parent's Day at India's Dance Class

I was lucky enough to be able to attend this class with India where parents were allowed to come in and watch the class. She has been doing this for a year and obviously really enjoys it.

Ahhh....this was so sweet I had to post it. When Mom and Dad were here last I came home one day to find both girls sleeping on Grandma......classic:

India Goes to School

Our little India is now in pre-school. Check out these photos of her in her new school uniform.....it is so cute.


We were so lucky to get her into Beacon Hill Montessori Preschool. We were on the waiting list for months but found out in late August that she was accepted. This school is in an old beautiful heritage house that had been lifted 15 years previous with the school now in the basement. Mrs. Lange is an incredibly gifted teacher who India adores. Here is her bio:

Mrs. Lange has been supervising and educating children for most of her life. She has been professionally teaching young children for over 25 years, is a licenced childcare provider, and an accredited Montessori Preschool Teacher. The Beacon Hill Montessori Preschool has been developed and operated by Mrs. Lange since 1994.

India calls the school the 'Chicken School' as the school keeps chickens. Getting into the school was the sole motivator for her to become potty trained.

Landscaping at 2721 Fernwood Rd.

Well this work has been on my mind for the last 5 years or so. The original developers never finished the landscaping properly and it I never had the time to properly fix it up. So now it is finally done and it looks great! It will take years to pay off but it is worth it in order to attract the kind of rental rates and people I am looking to continue to keep in the units. Colin, from Mowing Around, did an amazing job with the design and work. I would highly recommend him for any landscaping work that needs to be done.

Visit to Double Mac Farms

On all of our visits we like to go up to my buddy John's farm. This year they have begun building their beautiful new house. All I can say is wow!! India had a wonderful visit.
