This photo shoot occurred just before we went away on holidays in August. They were taken by our old cleaning person Leanne. She did our nuclear family photo shoot 2 years ago just after Amara was born. (if you are interested in her stuff, you can contact her at the following email address - justshootmenow@shaw.ca).
Enjoy the photos and be sure to watch the whole slideshow from the link at the bottom.
It truly is amazing how time flies. My little girl is now in grade one french immersion. She picked out her new dress for school the previous weekend. She is so proud of it. I think she will enjoy school much like her geeky parents did!
This was a long time in the making but it finally happened. I finally proposed to my long time life mate and mother of my two children. She said yes - thank god - and I couldn't be happier:
Every time we are in Prince George we go to my long time buddy's (John MacDonald) farm. The girls love it and for good reason. John and his family have created a little heaven on earth at Double Mac Farms:
We are so proud of India. Today she sang, in French, in front of the whole church. Trish was there with her singing the English version of the song. Enjoy, as so many people at the church did today:
What a wonderful time!! I am so glad I was able to make it up. Spending time in the comfort of good friends and a wonderful setting is truly a gift. Watching the kids play from dawn to dust was also amazing. Below are some pictures we took from the weekend and I will be posting video's soon:
As promised here are the pictures and videos from Amara's beach party. She and her friends had a blast. Enjoy the video and be sure to check out all the pictures:
We were out visiting a friend who happens to have 4 acres of waterfront property out in Mectchosin on the weekend. An absolutely beautiful piece of property. Anyway while we were there I got some good pictures of Amara with India's sunglasses on. Check it out:
Well now that India has her own digital camera with Movie capability there will be no end to her prolific movie making. Today's special song is called, "I Love You". Enjoy!
The goal of giving form to a complex situation like the credit crisis is to quickly supply the essence of the situation to those unfamiliar and uninitiated. This project was completed as part of the thesis work of a graduate student named Jonathan Jarvis at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California.
This is an amazing piece of work that brings some clarity to the current financial crisis. The one piece Jonathan misses, which is crucial, is the regulatory framework in the US which allowed this craziness to happen. Everywhere else in the world, this amount of leverage was strictly illegal. Right at the end of the Clinton second term, legislation was passed which made this legal and completely unregulated. What is even more amazing, the architects of this global fiasco are now on the economic team of Obama's administration. For more details on the historical context, click this link to read more.
Well there is no excuse for not posting on this blog for over 7 months!!! So rather then publicly berate myself, I want to present my daughter India's Valentine Song to the World. It is aptly called "I Love You So":
