Naramata
Well we again headed off for the last week session at Naramata Centre. This year my folks came as well and camped in their 5th Wheel. My Dad took a bird building course and I took a photography course. Below are my best pictures:

Camping at Rathtrevor
Okay...I am way behind in my posting. I can't believe this was 3 months ago. Kudos to the women of our crew who organized this. It was an unbelievable weekend of fun. I hope we can do this again in September. Here are the kids roasting marshmellows:

Can you believe Nicole was still pregnant?

The kids eating:

Amara really solidified her walking on this weekend:

Second Day in London: 5-1-08
Up early and off to see the changing of the guards were we. It was a challenge but we made it. It was hard to believe that even in rainy weather in early May there were still crazy crowds about for this spectacle. We took a few shots and then decided to wait out the rest in the gift shop. Here are some of the early photos:

Pretty boring stuff. Once we left the gift shop we ended up talking to a Bobby who explained who really protects the Palace (the London Police) and direct use over to the King James residence where the Prince of Wales resides....he informed us there is a Queen's Guard there with whom you can have your picture taken with:

We then went off to the Natural History Museum which was amazing. India was enthralled with the bug exhibit. The museums in Britain are free and therefore are incredibly attended:

We then decided to walk back through Hyde Park...not as impressive as I would've thought but nice nonetheless:

Once again we ate at an Italian restaurant...we couldn't get enough of authentic Italian food. Amara was once again an entertainer and India befriended some Italian kids visiting London:

First Day in London: 04-30-08
Well I can honestly say London lived up to the classic view of what one thinks weather would be like in England; wet, blustery, and generally awful. However we persevered with two children, a stroller with no rain cover, while navigating the tube with it's many stairs and obstacles. The girls were great and we made it to the National Museum:

We once again met up with the Fords at the London Eye. The weather, being horrible, allowed us to share a pod together on the world's largest ferris wheel:

And here is Tamara and Trish fawning over 007:

We then parted with the Fords and had a reasonable dinner at a Noodle House near the Eye. Amara quite enjoyed her meal:

Eleventh Day in Italy: 04-29-08
This was our last morning in Venice. We thought that we had given ourselves plenty of time to get out of our apartment but the cleaning lady was waiting for us to leave. Thankfully we had plenty of time to get to the airport. No pictures on this day.
Tenth Day in Italy: 04-28-08
Our second day in Venice was wonderful. Trish, was again, took some fantastic photos. Below is one of my favourites:

Here are a few more more for good measure:

We spent the day walking with the intention of stopping by Kevin and Tamara's hotel to greet them when they arrived. Here is the sign to their hotel:

We then went to the Peggy Guggenhiem Museum and then we headed back to their hotel to meet the Fords:

We had them over for dinner at our apartment that evening...it was fantasic to hook up with them again even though we had only been apart for less than 48 hrs!
